Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 July 2026

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms govern the relationship between Workshop IQ and the garage, workshop, bodyshop, specialist vehicle business or staff user using the Workshop IQ platform.

Separate customer-facing terms may be generated by each garage for its own customers. Those garage-to-customer terms do not replace these Workshop IQ terms.

2. The service

Workshop IQ provides software for managing enquiries, estimates, approvals, job cards, customer app links, messages, documents, parts, invoices, payments and related workshop workflows.

Features may change over time as the product is improved. We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

3. Garage responsibilities

  • Keep account, staff, customer, vehicle and payment information accurate.
  • Use the platform lawfully and only for legitimate garage/workshop operations.
  • Make sure staff users have appropriate permissions.
  • Check customer-facing estimates, approvals, invoices, messages and terms before sending them.
  • Maintain any licences, insurances, tax registrations and compliance obligations required for the garage business.

4. AI and automation

Workshop IQ may include AI-assisted features. AI output is provided to help speed up admin and support tasks. Garages remain responsible for reviewing important information before relying on it or sending it to customers.

5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Subscription prices, billing cycles and trial periods are shown at signup or in the billing area. Unless otherwise stated, prices include VAT where applicable.

Garages may cancel according to the billing controls available in the platform or by contacting Workshop IQ support. Access may continue until the end of the paid billing period unless stated otherwise.

6. Acceptable use

Garages must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful content, interfere with other users, reverse engineer the platform, or use Workshop IQ to send misleading, abusive or unlawful communications.

7. Data and content

The garage retains responsibility for the customer, vehicle, job, invoice and file content it enters into Workshop IQ. Workshop IQ may process that content to provide, secure and improve the service, as explained in the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.

8. Liability

Workshop IQ is provided as a business software tool. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workshop IQ is not responsible for indirect loss, lost profit, lost business, loss of goodwill, or losses caused by inaccurate garage-entered data or unreviewed AI output.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the support option inside the Workshop IQ dashboard.
